Mendota Heights, MN Implant Dentistry - Mike Mallinger, DDS
The following is a list of procedures that we can perform,
taking your implant experience from start to finish:
Extractions. A new procedure called "atraumatic extraction" removes hopeless teeth in a way that preserves as much jawbone as possible. This, along with socket grafting leaves more bone for implants and results in greater comfort in recovery.
Bone Grafting. In areas of the mouth where damage to the jawbone has occurred or denture wear has resorbed the jawbone, bone grafting can be done to replace the lost bone and make implants possible.
Sinus Lifting and Grafting. Sinuses in the upper jaw sometimes can interfere with implant placement. Bone grafting or sinus lifting can be accomplished to alleviate this problem and make implants possible.
Dental Implants. Implants can be placed to replace missing teeth. The implant replaces the tooth root and helps hold the new replacement 'teeth' so you can smile and chew with confidence!
Crowns, Bridges and Dentures. These are ways to replace the visible part of the lost tooth above the gums. Implants can hold your teeth firmly and more stable to improve chewing, smiling, and speaking.
Sedation and Comfort. For your comfort, prescription medications are available to make your appointment more pleasant. Also available is deeper sedation by a Board Certified Anesthesiologist.
